Admissions

Getting Started

The road to recovery begins at admission.

During our admissions process, each individual is confidentially screened to determine the level of care that best supports their path to recovery.

Affordable care is our promise. We’ll work with you, commercial insurers, the Veteran’s Administration, or other funders to get you the care you need. Paying for treatment shouldn’t be a burden, so we have a financial assistance program and policy in place, too.

The quickest way to begin is by calling our access center at 1-888-CENIKOR.

What services does Cenikor provide?

Committed to comprehensive care, clients take part in an individualized, full-service recovery path with integrated treatment programs running along a continuum of care. That includes everything from detox and residential to outpatient and aftercare.

Our recovery experts provide a custom treatment plan to fit each individual’s circumstances. In our model, participants start at the appropriate level of care and ease their way to healthy, independent living as they complete treatment goals.

How do I start the admissions process?

Please contact us at 1-888-CENIKOR between 8am and 7pm and a representative will begin the confidential screening.

During the call, the representative will gather pertinent information and make a recommendation for the needed level of treatment. Admissions will be made as soon as possible.

How much will treatment cost?

Treatment at one of Cenikor Foundation’s campuses is a highly personal experience with associated costs depending upon your level of care. Our staff can help determine the best treatment for the individual and develop an accurate picture of what treatment will cost.

We also offer a number of funding and payment options, so contact us today to find the best financial path on your road to recovery.

Do you accept insurance or provide financing options?

Affordable care is our promise, so we want to provide assistance to any individual seeking to get better. You can get evidence-based, accredited treatment that is equal to high-end programs at a fraction of the cost.

There are a number of ways to pay for treatment. Fees for services vary. Services are provided on a sliding scale based on income. Private pay and most insurance plans are accepted, and we offer payment plans and other funding options to help with out of pocket costs.

What are the requirements in order to be admitted?

Requirements for admission to our program include:

  • Physically able, mentally capable, and willing to participate in all aspects of the recovery program.
  • Willingness to admit a substance use disorder problem.
  • Willingness to demonstrate a desire to achieve a substance-free lifestyle.
  • Willingness to follow the rules and guidelines of the Cenikor program.
  • Notification to parole or probation before meeting with Cenikor (if applicable).
  • Ability to interact in a positive manner with all races, creeds, nationalities and ages.
  • Cenikor cannot accept clients with criminal records for the following offenses: repeated violent offenses, sexual offenses, crimes against children, and arson.
  • Cenikor supports clients with primary SUD and secondary mental health. As such, we are not psychiatrically equipped to accommodate some clients experiencing heightened levels of mental illness. We can refer to an appropriate facility or agency for these special needs.

Can I show up to a location and be admitted?

We do accept walk-ins; however, we may not have staff available so there could be a wait. The best way to get into treatment is to call our admissions team at 1-888-CENIKOR.

Can I make an appointment for someone or put them on a waitlist?

Because our programs are voluntary and confidential, we require the person seeking treatment to be on the phone with you to answer some screening questions.

Do you have detox/withdrawal management at your campuses?

Yes, all of our adult facilities offer detox.

Teens must be detoxed and medically stable before entering Odyssey House. Our admissions team is happy to offer you referrals.
